Standard repair charge: £90 including VAT + parts
The £90 repair charge includes the initial visit, fault diagnosis and labour to carry out the repair.
If we need to order a part, one return visit to fit the part is included in the £90 charge.

Whether you have a freestanding cooker, built-in oven or electric range cooker, we'll diagnose the fault and advise whether it can be economically repaired.
If the repair can be completed during our first visit, we'll normally carry it out there and then.
If a part needs to be ordered, one return visit to fit it is included in our standard repair charge.

If your electric oven isn't heating, isn't reaching the correct temperature, keeps tripping the electrics or has simply stopped working, we can investigate the fault.
Common failures include heating elements, thermostats, fans, switches and other electrical components.
We repair built-in electric ovens and freestanding electric cookers from all makes, subject to parts availability.
Is My Oven or Cooker Worth Repairing?
Not every faulty cooker needs replacing.
We'll diagnose the problem first and, where practical, repair the existing appliance.
If we believe the appliance is beyond economical repair, we'll tell you.
Oakey Electrical can also supply replacement electric cookers, ovens and hobs through our existing suppliers if you decide that replacement makes more sense.
There is no obligation to purchase a replacement appliance from us.
Cooker Repairs from Oakey Electrical
Domestic appliance repairs aren't new to Oakey Electrical.
Cooker and appliance repairs were previously a significant part of our work before we moved away from appliance repairs to concentrate on electrical contracting.
We continued to undertake occasional cooker repairs for existing customers and are now making our domestic electric cooker and oven repair service available again.
The service is returning. The experience isn't new.
