Blakeney is home. Oakey & Son was founded here by Ray Oakey in the late 1960s and we still work from the village today, covering Blakeney, Newnham, Awre, Soudley, Littledean and the villages along the A48.
Because we are on the doorstep, small jobs are as welcome as big ones – a dead socket or a tripping board does not need a long wait. We also carry out EICRs for local landlords and holiday lets, consumer unit upgrades, rewires of the village's older stone cottages, and outdoor lighting and power for gardens, workshops and outbuildings.
